candy making day | bella blvd…
Hi friends! I’m up on the Bella Blvd. blog this morning, along with some of my design team friends, sharing a layout featuring a fun way to use frames!
I wanted to document our annual candy making day – these photos are from last year and they were taken with my phone…not super great quality, but it’s still a tradition I wanted to record.
I opted to use the small photos, embellished with lots of fun products from the “Christmas Countdown” collection.
These cute polaroid-style frames are available in this die-cut pack:
I hope you’re having a great start to this holiday week! Fill it with fun activities, start new traditions, make memories…and remember to take photos along the way so you can document your special days! :)

our christmas pajamas tradition | doodlebug design…
I’m up on the Doodlebug blog today (along with cute Tya) sharing one of our Christmas traditions – Christmas Eve Pajamas! I wanted to share it here as well…
This is the layout I created using Doodlebug’s newest Christmas line, “Home for the Holidays”:
I just love the traditional colors with a fun, modern twist! Here are a few of the details:
It also seems that it’s becoming a tradition for me to document these Christmas Eve PJ photos by creating a fun, unique, oversized Christmas tree on the layouts – here’s a peek at the PJ layouts from the last couple of years:
I sure love this tradition and I’m looking forward to continuing it in just a few short days – even though I still can’t believe Christmas is only 4 days away! Remember to document your fun holidays traditions – I bet you’ll enjoy looking back and comparing year to year just as much as we do!

mini christmas gift boxes | bella blvd.
Last week, on the Bella Blvd. blog (here), my assignment was to be inspired by pinterest. Be sure to visit the Bella blog to see my inspiration piece! Here’s the set of gift boxes I created using Bella’s Christmas Countdown line (and a few extras):
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut each box.
Next, I wrapped each box with a strip of coordinating paper:
Each box has a unique “topper:”
I can’t wait to fill each box with something special:

another christmas neighbor gift idea | pebbles inc…
Are you still stumped as to what to give friends and neighbors for Christmas this year? How about the gift of a cozy evening in? I shared this project earlier on the Pebbles blog (here). And while I can’t guarantee your neighbors won’t go out in the freezing cold temps, I bet this gift will encourage them to stay inside and snuggle in front of a blazing fire:
At least that’s what I’d do if someone gave me a big canister of Stephen’s hot chocolate and a CD full of beautiful Christmas music!
Our family loves to choose a few favorite holiday tunes, mixing classics with brand new songs, and we create our own family Christmas CD every Christmas season. Once we make it, it’s easy to burn more copies to share with friends and neighbors!
I created the CD folders with my Silhouette Cameo.
And everything is embellished with Pebbles’ Lakeside collection – not even a Christmas collection if you can believe that!!
Hope you’re having a wonderful week and getting lots of Holiday projects complete – if you’re having a hard time getting in the mood, turn on some Christmas tunes – I’m sure it will help! :)
